Unfortunately, I am still under the spell of 18k yellow gold. My mind is awash with ideas that involve chunks of 18k yellow gold. What a wonderful material! I mean you don’t even have to do much, just present it in some form that conveys its character. This ring is set with rose-cut diamonds that are backed with rhodium plating. The problem, of course, is that the gold is now stupidly expensive, not to mention that the fashion climate has everyone wanting white metals. But humankind has had a long and deep relationship with gold, and I know it will be back! Soon!
